BGVanish is designed so that there is almost nothing to collect. This policy explains what happens with your data in plain language.

Your images never leave your device

When you remove an image background with BGVanish, the entire process — reading the image, running the AI model, and generating the result — happens locally in your browser. Your images are never uploaded to our servers, because there are no servers that receive them: BGVanish is a static website.

What we don’t collect

• No accounts, so no names, email addresses, or passwords.
• No tracking cookies.
• We do not see, store, or have access to your images or your results.

Privacy-friendly analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand overall usage (for example, page views and load performance). It is cookie-free, does not track you across sites, and does not collect personal information. Your images are still processed entirely on your device and are never part of analytics.

What is stored on your device

To make repeat visits faster, your browser may keep a copy of the AI model in its local storage (IndexedDB) after the first download. This data lives only on your device — you can delete it at any time through your browser’s site-data settings. If your browser discards it, the model is simply downloaded again on next use.

What our hosting provider sees

BGVanish is hosted on Cloudflare’s network. Like any website host, Cloudflare processes standard technical request data (such as IP address, browser type, and requested files) to deliver the pages and model files to you and to protect the site from abuse. This is governed by Cloudflare’s privacy policy.

Children’s privacy

BGVanish does not knowingly collect personal information from anyone, including children under 13.

Changes to this policy

September 27, 2026: added a note about Cloudflare Web Analytics (privacy-friendly, cookie-free). If we ever add features that change how data is handled further (for example, accounts), we will update this page and note the change here.
